Welcome to Mindful Juniors. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and participation in our programs, website, and services. By using our website or enrolling in our classes, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services.
 

1. About Mindful Juniors

Mindful Juniors is a private provider of mindfulness-based emotional literacy and self-regulation programmes for children aged 5–16. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified under the Ministry of Education (MOE) or the National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore. Our facilitators have not been trained at NIE, and our programmes are independently developed based on neuroscience, psychology, and mindfulness principles.
 

2. Nature of Services

Mindful Juniors offers:

  • Tiered group classes and workshops for children to develop emotional intelligence, resilience, and mindfulness

  • Psychoeducational content focused on social-emotional learning, mental well-being, and personal growth

  • Activity-based enrichment rooted in developmental psychology and child-friendly neuroscience
     

Important Disclaimer:
Mindful Juniors is an educational and enrichment platform, not a clinical service.
We do not provide psychological assessments, therapy, diagnosis, counselling, or intervention. The founder and facilitators of Mindful Juniors are not child psychologists, and our services do not constitute or substitute for clinical mental health treatment.
 

Any concerns regarding mental health, behavioural challenges, or developmental delays should be directed to a qualified psychologist, psychiatrist, or medical professional.
 

3. Eligibility

Our services are available to parents or legal guardians aged 18 and above who are enrolling children under their care. By registering a child, you confirm that you are their lawful guardian and are authorised to consent on their behalf.
 

4. Fees and Payment

  • All program fees must be paid in advance and are non-refundable once the program begins.

  • Cancellations made 5 working days before the start of a program will be eligible for a full refund.

  • Missed classes will not be refunded but may be replaced subject to availability and discretion.

  • Mindful Juniors reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class. In such events, you may opt for a full refund or transfer of credit.
     

5. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, logos, designs, and curriculum are the intellectual property of Mindful Juniors and may not be reproduced, shared, or repurposed without written consent.
 

6. Parental Responsibility and Disclosure

Parents/guardians are responsible for:

  • Disclosing any relevant psychological, medical, behavioural, or learning needs before enrolment

  • Ensuring the child is fit and safe to participate in group settings

  • Cooperating with facilitators if concerns arise

Failure to disclose such information may lead to removal from the program without refund.
 

7. Behaviour and Participation

Mindful Juniors reserves the right to remove any child from a class if their behavior is persistently unsafe, disruptive, or negatively impacts the group, after reasonable intervention attempts. No refund will be provided under such circumstances.

8. Disclaimer of Psychological, Emotional, Physical and Mental Liability

By enrolling in any Mindful Juniors program, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Mindful Juniors and its representatives do not provide therapy, and are not responsible for diagnosing or treating any psychological, mental, emotional, behavioral, or medical condition.

  • Participation in our programs does not constitute clinical or therapeutic care.

  • We do not accept liability for any emotional distress, trauma triggers, behavioral regression, or lack of progress, whether arising during or after participation.

  • We do not guarantee outcomes, emotional breakthroughs, or measurable improvements.
     

You agree that:

  • You are fully responsible for disclosing any relevant mental health or developmental history

  • You assume all risks related to participation

  • Any form of psychological support needed outside of our scope remains your personal responsibility
     

9. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and use your data in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Singapore. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details. By using our services, you consent to our collection and use of personal data for program administration, communication, and updates.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law:

  • Mindful Juniors and its staff shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, injury, or damage

  • Total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount paid for the program or service in question

  • You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or costs arising from your use of our services
     

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.

 

12. Amendments

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updates will be published on our website with the effective date indicated. Continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
